The Family History Video

Your family history video will be created from a videotaped interview of a family member recounting their life story. Using state of the art digital video editing equipment, your family photographs, archived historical footage and family memorabilia, such as letters, documents and certificates, will be combined with the videotaped interview to produce a stunning keepsake.

The interview is recorded either in one or more sittings at your family member's own home or at any other convenient location. Our experienced interviewers will gently lead your family member through their story, from their ancestry through their childhood, raising their family and on to current times.

Your family history video will be attractively and professionally presented in video, CD or DVD format, with copies for other family members.

The Narrated Photo Album

If, like many families, you have drawers and drawers of wonderful photographs that are usually hidden away and seldom looked at, Hand Me Down Histories can bring them to life by recording a family member's voice telling the story of the people and places represented in a selection of these photographs.

We'll help you to select the right amount of photographs to make a short narrated photo album and help you choose appropriate music, adding special effects for visual interest.
